Common Questions
What types of containers do you offer?
Standard dry containers (20ft, 40ft, 45ft and 53ft), high cube, open top, flat rack, side door, full open side and tunnel (double door) containers, plus refrigerated (reefer) containers, container chassis and gensets.
What other equipment do you offer?
Chassis (gooseneck, tri-axle and more) and gensets (clip-on and undermount).
What does cargo-worthy mean?
It means the container is structurally sound, weatherproof, and suitable for international shipping.
What is a new or one-trip container?
A container that has only been used once to ship cargo. It is the closest to brand new.
How do I get a quote?
Contact us or fill out the form and one of our team members will assess your needs and provide a detailed quote. Same-day quotes are available.
What is the difference between a 20-foot and a 40-foot container?
A 20-foot container is about 20 ft long and holds roughly 1,170 cubic feet. A 40-foot container is about 40 ft long and holds roughly 2,390 cubic feet. Both are about 8 ft wide and 8 ft 6 in tall, and high cube versions are 9 ft 6 in tall. Choose by how much you need to store or ship and the space available for delivery and placement.
What is a high cube container?
A high cube container is about one foot taller than a standard container, 9 ft 6 in instead of 8 ft 6 in, which adds storage height.
Do you sell new and used containers?
Yes. New units are available across our container types, and selected containers, reefers and chassis are also available used. Use the Condition filter in the shop, and we confirm condition and availability in your quote.
What is a Duocon container?
A Duocon is a 20-foot unit factory-built from two 10-foot containers joined back to back. Once the joint is separated, you have two independent 10-foot containers, each with its own floor, roof and doors.
How much does a container cost?
Pricing depends on size and condition. Contact us for a quote.
How is delivery arranged?
We work with local delivery partners. Delivery options and costs are confirmed for your destination when you request a quote.
What type of truck is used for delivery?
Typically tilt-bed trucks, rollback trucks, or a flatbed or chassis, depending on site conditions.
Do I need equipment to unload the container?
Yes if you choose flatbed delivery, which is more cost-effective than a tilt bed. No if you choose tilt bed or rollback.
Can you deliver to residential areas?
Yes, but access must be checked first (tight streets, low wires, etc.).
What is a tunnel (double door) container?
A tunnel container has doors at both ends, so you can load and unload from either end. It is available in 20-foot and 40-foot sizes, in standard and high cube heights.
What are side door and full open side containers?
A side door container has a set of double doors on one long side, in addition to the rear doors. A full open side container has most of one long side that opens, and some 40-foot high cube units have four side door sets. They give easy access along the length of the container.
How does tilt-bed delivery work?
The container arrives on a trailer that tilts back and slides the container onto the ground, so no crane or forklift is needed. With flatbed delivery, the container stays on the truck bed and you provide a crane or forklift to unload it.
Do you deliver to every state?
Yes, we arrange delivery within the United States, all states. Delivery options and cost are confirmed for your ZIP code when you request a quote.
